I am an architect and interior designer by profession (BA Interior Design, MA Architecture) and I love bringing old properties back to life with a new charm.

After our grandma Rita moved into a retirement home, it was very important to me to keep the house in the family.

Our Grandma Rita and Grandpa Heiner built the house in 1952 using stone from the family’s sandstone quarry, and all the woodwork (ceiling, roof trusses, floors, stairs, etc.) was done by my grandmother’s family business (Zipfl Carpentry in Geusfeld). All these stories and tales of the building’s creation and the sweat that went into it, as well as all the memories I’ve experienced in the house myself, inspired me to take on the challenge of a complete renovation.

Now, after two years of planning, organizing, and hard work, with many ups and downs, we can finally welcome you to our holiday apartment, RITA. Next door, in the garden, you’ll find our private holiday home, ANNA. Overnight stays are also possible upon request.

Both units are a tribute to my grandmothers, ANNA & RITA, who dedicated their lives to their families from dawn to dusk; finances were a man’s business back then; a fact that opened my eyes massively and taught me independence.
